The Smithsonian’s Office of Safety, Health, and Environmental Management (OSHEM) maintains the Smithsonian’s Safety Manual and makes it available to all employees and affiliated staff. The Safety Manual available here is the current version.
OSHEM assists Smithsonian offices and units in maintaining a safe and healthy workplace and is available to assist whenever questions or concerns arise on issues that may not be directly addressed by the Safety Manual.
