- Woven portrait of Napoleon III in profile in a richly framed circular medallion, initial "N" framed in laurel leaves at bottom. Swags, oak leaves, and arabesques surround the medallion which is surmounted by the imperial crown. Woven for the Exposition Universelle of 1855 in Paris.
