Identified there as Bottle with dragon design; Porcelain with cobalt decoration; 30 x 16 cm; Late 19th century, Joseon. A product of the government workshops, this bottle probably served wine. The dragon is a classic symbol of benevolent male power. It was probably drawn by a professional painter, using cobalt pigment, and covered with a clear slightly bluish glaze.
