- Description
- Buff clay body, thrown. Ovoid body with swelling at shoulder, truncated neck - no foot. Carved in relief, recessed ground, design of Spanish moss-covered oak trees encircling body, against background of underbrush and sky; lower quarter of design below tress is undecorated. Waxy matte glazes of blue, green and blue-green; sky is cream matte glaze. Interior is cream matte glaze. Bottom not glazed. Crazing to glaze.
