- Charcoal, sanguine, and crayon drawing on heavy textured cream wove paper. The work depicts the town of Mont St. Père and the valley of the Marne from an aerial perspective. Mont St. Père is a shell-torn town clogged with troops, horses, and equipment passing through. A British airplane and an observation balloon are in the sky.
