- This image depicts two women standing on the street leaning against a wooden police barrier. One woman stands in front of the barrier, resting both her elbows on the wooden partition. Wearing glasses, a fur coat, striped shirt, skirt, and gloves, she carries a dark square handbag in her left hand and a cane in her right. She gazes directly at the camera. The second woman stands behind the barrier, leaning her forearms on the partition, with wrists crossed. Wearing a dark flowered hat, blouse, and skirt, she holds a roll of paper in her right hand. She gazes away from the camera to her right. There are five other figures passing along the sidewalk in the background.
