- McDonnell Douglas Astronautics Co.
- Summary
- Skylab was launched into low Earth orbit in May 1973 and occupied until February 1974 by three-man crews on three different missions. Several onboard tool kits contained a variety of tools and supplies for basic repairs and maintenance tasks that the astronauts might need to do while in space.
