- Real photo postcard of Times Square, New York City; stamped and postmarked. Sent to "Hal" at The Cordova in Washington DC on Florida Avenue. Postmarked from NY, NY, 1942.
- On verso in black ink, "Dear Hal. I always think of you when I go this way! Wonder why? Have had a fine trip but am ready to go home to see you all again & get back on the Cau[?] job, etc. Look for me Nov. 3rd which is Election Day here but Alas! I can [?] cast a vote (for Dewey) this year."
- Gene Raymond and Ann Sothern are advertised in a movie called “Smartest Girl in Town,” released November 1936. Also depicted Astor Hotel, Claridge Hotel and Lowes State. Signs for Planters Peanuts, Coca Cola, Chevrolet, Benny Fields, Chin's (restaurant). Copyright Foto Seal.
