- Poster for the 1990 movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The poster features all four Ninja Turtles peeking their heads out from underneath a manhole cover in the street with a cityscape behind them. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are four fictional anthropomorphic turtles named after famous Italian Renaissance artists: Donatello, Leonardo, Michelangelo, and Raphael. They are crime fighters who live in the sewers of New York City. Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird co-created these characters featured in comic books published by Mirage Studios beginning in 1984.
