- Landscape study of sunset view in Hudson Valley. The last light of the setting sun vibrantly illuminates clouds near the horizon in fiery yellow and orange-red. Sky is a dark olive green while mountains are rendered in dark purple, and foreground in deep evergreen. Light blue ground visible along upper margin.
