- Poster design for the New York Subway Advertising Company encouraging businesses to purchase advertising space for a poster on the subway. On black ground, a disjointed face of a clown, made up of only eyes, a red nose with red, white, and blue feather, an open mouth and tongue, and a white cone hat. Behind, purple and yellow lights forming a ring around the clown's face. At top, in white, gray, and yellow text: SUBWAY [italicized] / POSTERS.
