- This view depicts a room with a coffered, barrel-vaulted ceiling and furniture in the Russian taste (1820-1830). On display are a large collection of paintings, two marble sculptures of the Crouching Venus flanking the window, and potted plants, urns and vases. The Czarina is seated at her writing table at the far end of the room.
