- Pouch shape, with two hinged covers and two compartments; plaques of heliotrope held in a frame of gold carved with scrolls, leaves and pinecone motifs; thumb-piece of foliate scrolls set with small diamonds, rubies, and emeralds; sides of box lined with gold.
