- Yellow commericial cotton band woven with zigzag pattern, with green edges and central stripe. Black zigzag lines are painted on the yellow. Two yellow and green tassels at each end. Tassel strings are black and yellow. Anchor bead is orange. Dr. Newton says: Uncertain if this was made for use in the We?te festival, or when it was made. Obtained from Pruys (Marina, a 26 y/o female.) Made by same. No wear. Warp: commercial cotton, multi colors, yellow and green. Weft: commercial thread, white. Bead cordage: 2z tucum/caroa. Tassels: commercial cotton, mulit colors, yellow and green, and glass beads. No price.
