- Signatures (irregular, due to integration of text and double-page illustrations): a⁶ b⁴ c⁶ d⁴ e⁶ f⁶ g⁴ h⁶ ("c5" and "f5" are the stubs [uncut] of c2 and f2).

- SCDIRB copy has an old (contemporary?) blind-tooled full leather binding with raised bands. Blank filler leaves (15 at front and 18 at back) have been bound in. A later binder's title has been inked on the spine in yellow: Institut. Geomet. Housed in a modern linen-covered clamshell box with printed brown paper spine label.
