- Summary
- An asymmetrical serpentine pine forest composed of 4,000 white pine trees and 4,000 Austrian pine trees. The 8,000 pine seedlings were planted diagonally across the valley, alternating the pine species every five rows. The design was intended to prevent soil erosion while creating the optical illusion of rolling terrain on this former mine site.
