- These are limestone shatter cones. Shatter cone describes the fan-shaped fracture lines featured on the rocks, which are a result from high pressure, high velocity shock wave from a large impacting object or large explosion. These rocks are light in color and measure around 11 cm x 6 cm x 8.5 cm or less.
