- This color photograph shows four men standing in front of a food establishment in the Downtown section of Brooklyn, New York, in 1982. The four men are dressed in a variety of styles including turtlenecks, jeans, a leather jacket, and sweater. Two of the men are wearing gold chains. There is a man inside a window of the food establishment standing behind a food prep station. A boombox is on the ground in front of them. The back of the photograph is inscribed with the title and photographer Jamel Shabazz’s signature.
