- John Rogers sold more than eight thousand copies of the group Coming to the Parson, making it by far his most successful piece. This group was particularly favored as a wedding present. Rogers included a newspaper titled The Union, which was inspired by a newspaper he read while working as a mechanic in Manchester, New Hampshire.
