Description

Gold alloy ring in the shape of a starfish composed of four granulated C-shapes or crescents that come together at the center and are crested by a a tiered rosette. The band is composed of wire bent into two parallel loops and soldered on the underside. Pierced holes in the underside of flattened sheet metal.

Marian Johnson, purchased in Dakar, Senegal, 1963-late 20th century to 2012
