- Radium bromide (RaBr2) is the bromide salt of radium, produced during the process of separating radium from uranium ore. It was discovered by Pierre and Marie Curie in 1898, sparked a huge interest in radiochemistry and radiotherapy, and was being used for therapeutic purposes at an early date. This glass jar has a Boericke & Tafel label. Also "Radio Activity 4,000,000 / Made from pure Radium Bromide imported by ourselves and covered by guarantee by the manufacturers."
