Psychological Test, Downey Group Will-Temperament Test
Object Details
- Downey, June E.
- Description
- June E. Downey (1875-1932), professor of psychology at the University of Wyoming, published this test with World Book Company in 1922. This example was taken by the donor, Samuel Kavruck, in January of 1938.
- This is a revised form of a test Downey had introduced as the Individual Will-Temperament Test in 1919. Her tests evaluated personality from the use of handwriting analysis (the subject of her 1907 University of Chicago doctoral dissertation) and the study of motor actions. The 1919 test was administered to individual subjects; this one could be given to groups of people.
