- For Bleached, Dyed, Tinted Hair. Hair with some natural curl or easy-to-wave hair.
- Prom Cosmetics, a division of the Gillette Company, sold this Prom Brand Home Permanent kit during the 1950s. The Prom kit came in three types, very gentle, regular, and super, and was promoted for being “self neutralizing” which simplified the home perming process. The Prom kit was heavily advertised on TV and radio and became one of the most popular home permanent brands of the 1950s.
