- Description
- Wide-brimmed mushroom hat designed by Mae Reeves with a high round crown made from layers of bright pink chiffon. A pink velvet ribbon hat band is tied in a bow at the center back of the crown. Six (6) artifical flowers with large rounded pink petals, green leaves, and plastic green stems, are adhered to the upper side of the brim. Both the crown and the brim are shaped with buckram, and a length of wire is attached around the edge of the brim and covered with the pink chiffon. The crown has an interior hat band made from pink grosgrain ribbon. An ivory designer label with black printed text is adhered at the center back of the interior band that reads: "Mae Reeves / OF / PHILADELPHIA".
