- A black and white photograph of two young men with instruments.
- The two men are both wearing marching band style jackets. The jackets are dark colored with decorative braidwork around the buttons on the front and at the cuffs. They are also wearing matching caps with buttons and braid detailing and black shoes with white spats. The man to the left of the image is turned to face the other man. He wears white gloves and holds a small trumpet. The man to the right of the image is turned towards the other man and is playing a trombone. The trombone is held up to his mouth, his cheeks are puffed out, and he is pulling the trombone out with his proper right arm. At the bottom right corner is an imprinted photographer's mark reading [Swisher / 220 / S STATE ST / CHICAGO]. At the top left corner is a handwritten inscription reading [Green + Plur]. There are no inscriptions on the back.
