- Description
- This 110 Baud modem with acoustic coupler was was one of the early modems with acoustic couplers used by computers for communicating over telephone lines. The telephone was first dialed and then placed in the cradle where it would talk to the other computer. These modems were superseded by internal and external modems that did not need to use a physical telephone headset.
