- Description
- Hollow gold circular pendant decorated with filigree and openwork on both sides. The front is a central, tiered floral ornament projecting forth and surrounded by 10 filigreed petals and concentric patterns of filigree spirals, tiny flowers, undulating filigree and knotted wires. The bottom is flat and decorated with a central hammered disc of gold surrounded by openwork 'petals' of twin coiled decorative elements; all surrounded by a circumference of concentric elements of knotted wire and undulating wire. The hanging element is detached (B), leaving part of the element at the object's proper left side. The element is constructed from spiraled wire and three flattened discs of gold.
