Join us for this virtual tour of the Pathology Lab at the National Zoological Park with veterinary pathologist, Dr. Kali Holder. Veterinary pathology is a specialty within veterinary medicine that focuses on the who, what, where, when, why, and how of animal diseases. Our host, Dr. Kali Holder, is a veterinary anatomic pathologist at the National Zoological Park. She analyzes biopsies and performs postmortem investigations on animals from the living collection as well as wildlife from zoo grounds. Pathology is a critical part of understanding the health and disease of animals.
