ACCORDING TO WILLIAM STURTEVANT, NMNH CURATOR, THE RED "--14" ON THE INTERIOR OF THE BOWL IS A STEVENSON ORIGINAL NUMBER, INDICATING THE BOWL WAS COLLECTED BETWEEN 1880-1884.

The photo is National Anthropological Archives ref. # SPC Sw Zuni NM No # People 02440800 (SPS neg. # 85-8666). The vessel itself is illustrated in Fig. 23.28, p. 333, in Lanmon 2008.
