- Wool bunting pennant flag. Red border on the hoist edge. In the center of the flag is a blue cotton applique of two crossed swords. White cotton hoist with no grommets. Machine stitching; flat-felled seams. The inscription on the hoist reads "R. C. Toy 49 N. 9th Phila CAVALRY Corps Army POTOMAC 2nd Brg 3rd Div."
