- Description (Brief)
- White box with hot pink and black print containing two separately packaged naloxone nasal spray doses and a folded paper insert. Each white plastic nasal spray device is printed with black and hot pink, and each is contained in a transparent, colorless plastic package with silver foil backing. Backing is printed in black and is barcoded. Expiration and lot number printed on box top: LOT 180106 / EXP MAR 2020. Distributed by ADAPT PHARMA.
- In November 2015, the FDA approved Narcan Nasal Spray for emergency trreatment of opiod overdose. Previously naloxone hydrochloride, the active ingredient in Narcan, was only available as an injectable drug. In March 2023, the nasal spray was approved for over-the-counter use.
