- Straight body with slightly concave section above round foot. On one side, transfer-printed view of the cast iron bridge over the river Wear, surrounded by inscription. On the other side, husband and wife and two children; under this, “Sailor’s Farewell”. Prints heightened with green, iron-red, yellow, and pink lustre. Inside, a three-dimensional frog, painted black and pink.
