- Description
- Landscape sketch showing a loosely rendered view of Mt. Katahdin from the eastern shore of Katahdin Lake. The light blue surface of the lake comprises the foreground and extends through the middle distance until it encounters various island and the heavily wooded opposite shore. Rendered in a tone of purple-grey, Mt. Katahdin and its associated ridge are crowned in a low-lying bank of puffy clouds. A variety of clouds hang in the otherwise blue-green sky above.
