- A slender marble stele, adapted from a Greek funerary slab, adorned with a relief carving of the American Institute of Architects insignia depicting an American eagle with wings spread in front of a Doric column topped by a star. Below the insignia is a relief depicting two full length figures. Columbia, on the right, wears a Phrygian bonnet, the adaptation of the Greek warrior's helmet, and holds a spear in her left hand and a laurel branch in her right hand. She offers the laurel branch to a figure representing Architecture, wearing a headpiece in the shape of a Greek temple.
