- This Apollo 14 commemorative medal was struck by the Lincoln Mint in the United States. Apollo 14 was launched on January 31, 1971, and returned to Earth ten days later. Stuart Roosa, Alan Shepard, and Edgar Mitchell were the astronauts. It was the eighth human spaceflight and the third successful human lunar landing in the Apollo program.
