- The indications or uses for this product as provided by the manufacturer are:
- A highly medicated ointment for superficial varieties of simple open sores, minor cuts, burns, scalds, chapped hands.
- DIRECTIONS: For external use, apply freely and if necessary bind up with a clean bandage, renewing once a day. For Nasal Irritations apply in the nostrils two or three times a day, inserting with the finger as far as possible. For Burns and Scalds, spread the Ointments on a clean cloth and bind up, renewing the bandage daily. For Blackhears apply freely at night. In the morning cover the face with towel wrung out of moderately hot water, renewing the towel frequently for ten minutes. Then wash off with clean, cool water and dry by patting with a soft towel.
