Evans, 1888-1961) and his wife Pauline Evans (1888-1960), who collected items related to Niimíipuu history and culture from the 1930s onward and operated the Sacajawea Museum in Spalding, Idaho; acquired by The Museum Shop, a book and antique shop in Mabton, Washington, owned by William L. Gannon (1919-1985), at an unknown date; purchased by MAI from The Museum Shop in 1961.
