- Photograph of Louis Sitting Bull, adopted son of Chief Sitting Bull. Native American man in large feather headress and traditional clothing. He is holding a handgun in his right hand and a beaded cloth in his left hand. Written on back in ink is: "To Mother / From Mary." Maker's mark stamped in red below: "D.F Barry, / Photographer, / Bismark, / D.T." This photograph was originally framed as part of a triptych along with a photo of Chief Sitting Bull (2003.0311.23) at left and a photo of Standing Holy (2003.0311.25) at right.
