- Description
- Red earthenware, thrown. Cylinder body that widens gradually until the shoulder, tapering in from shoulder; circular lid with a knob; subtle foot. On front, brown and white birds flying across white full moon, black sky, with expressive brown, white, and ocher brush strokes. Around the shoulder, lava-like slips in turquoise, leaf green, cobalt blue, light blue, and white. Exterior and interior: glazed; clear with fine crazing.
