Object Details
- Collector
- Mr. Herbert Ward
- Donor Name
- Mrs. Sarita S. Ward
- This object was inventoried as E322694-0, and is marked 322694A, but the "A" is written in newer ink than the older numbers. Also, there is another knife marked E322694A (now numbered E322694-0) that matches the detailed description on the card. Therefore, it seems very likely that this "A" is incorrect.
- From card: "See following cards for individual knives. In general: Blades ornamented by incisions on both sides. Handles of wood, terminating in 1 to 4 knobs, some ornamented with brass tacks. Handles of some wrapped with copper or brass strips. Two of the knives are copper. Cleaned and restored 7/27/64"
