- Summary
- The steam locomotive the "Jupiter," engine No. 84, as it appeared around 1880. The locomotive was acquired by the National Museum of History and Technology, now the National Museum of American History, in 1975 for the "1876: A Centennial Exhibition" in the Arts and Industries Building. The locomotive is one of about 25 of its type to exist, of approximately 25,000 that were manufactured.
