- Summary
- A full-length nude figure of Jacob seen standing, slightly twisting around, grappling with an angel. His proper right arm is extended back over his shoulder and his proper left arm grasps a mass of wings (representing the Angel) at his side. Jacob's face is turned to the proper left side. The winged mass is partially wrapped around Jacob from his thighs to behind his head. The entire sculpture is mounted atop a rectangular, stepped base.
