- Description
- Glass syringe with a U80 scale for insulin that could be had for $6.95 from the American Foundation for the Blind. An inscription on the cardboard box reads in part, “HILL / ACCURATE DOSAGE / SYRINGE” and “Manufactured for VIA-MED PRODUCTS, INC., East Rutherford, New Jersey.” This was designed by Clifford Warren Hill (1923-2007), a graduate of the Stevens Institute of Technology.
