- Loosely rendered landscape study of the Hudson Valley at sunset. Background mountain range--likely Catskill Escarpment with Kaaterskill High Peak at righ--backdrops deep purple foothills in middle distance. Tumultuous evening sky characterized by brownish red clouds and turquoise gradient. Lush, green foreground gives way to brownish-cream ground.
