- Description
- Landscape sketch showing a view of a grove of trees with autumn foliage in Vermont. The foreground consists of dry and brown grass that transitions to light green on a hill that ascends gently to the right. Curving cart tracks are visible on this rise at right, while at left, a split rail fence is briefly shown. At center, the tree grove is colored in vibrant hues of red, orange, yellow, and light green. The sky behind is articulated in a shade of bluish green. The grey-green ground color is exposed along all four margins.
