- Advertisement for Container Corporation of America featuring artwork by Herbert Bayer. Design consists of a light blue geometric form, roughly oval shaped with pointed ends, at the top, with the following printed black text: Great Ideas of Western Man . . . ONE OF A SERIES. At center, a large black circle appears, with the following text printed in white at the bottom of the shape: I hold that while man exists it is his duty / to improve not only his own condition / but to assist in ameliorating mankind. / (Speech, Cincinnati, Feb. 12, 1861). The black circle and blue geometric form are shaded and not clearly defined around the edges. Printed in blue text, below the circle: ABRAHAM LINCOLN on man's responsibility. Design contains a thin, red, rectangular strip along the bottom containing text printed in black: CONTAINER CORPORATION OF AMERICA. The CCA logo is directly below.
