- This right full pressure glove is part of a pair made for the Mark IV High Altitude suit used by the U.S. Navy in the early 1950s and is considered the forerunner of the Mercury suit and gloves.
- It is constructed with an interior bladder of rubber, and an exterior of green nylon with adjustment straps over the upper hand. The palms are of leather.
- NASA Manned Spacecraft Center transferred this glove to the Museum sometime prior to 1973.
