- The four pieces of this model of a hinged dissection can be arranged as a quadrilateral or as triangle.
- This is model 4X in Wheeler's list of decompositions of polygons (under quadrilaterals). A special case of a square interchangeable with an equilatral triangle is illutrated by models MA.304723.764, MA.704723.766, and MA.304723.819. There is a drawing in 1979.3002.55, folder 1, dated January 20, 1932.
