- Description
- The faces of this green plastic cut and glued model are six identical figures erected around a central core. Each of the figues has four triangles (two on two opposite sides) and two irregular pentagons. Each of the pentagons has a facet bounded by four smaller triangles. In other words, the model has for faces twelve irregular (but congruent) pentagons, and a total of forty-eight small triangles and twenty-four larger triangles.
- A paper tag on the model reads: 498. Another mark reads: 498 (/) Plastic. Wheeler plased the model in his subgroup icosahedra.
