- Description
- Utagawa Kunisada is one of the lesser-known ukiyo-e printmakers, but he is no less talented than his contemporaries Hokusai and Hiroshige. Herem the architectural designs, wood mark in the night sky, and the magnitude of colors and prints in the geisha’s kimono are numerous examples as to how Kunisada is just as talented. Kunisada’s mostly known for depicting women, kabuki actors, and couples in the thrawls of lovemaking.
